Parks Commission Meeting Minutes: 2/4/09
- Previous meeting minutes approved
- Wrong rink hours in the Monterey news. Corrected hours will be in the March news.
- No new ice pucks.
- February 21st (Saturday) the parks commission will host a skate party from 1-3. Diana set up the details with Ken for refreshments.
- Staples donated the sign for the ice rink to the parks commission.
- Budget was decided on for 2009. The current budget was also discussed.
- Bridget will write up the lifeguard regulations for the upcoming season. An ad for lifeguards will be put in the Shopper’s guide at the end of March and in May.
- Lifeguards will start on the weekends June 27th and 28th. July 4th full time. Staffing for the beach will be scheduled through Labor day.
